[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: none;,true][cs=2][atrb=width,300] hey there. the name's madeline elise kuik! i go by maddie too if you were wondering. also i'll have you know that i am twenty-one & loving it. oh. you've heard that I'm straight? & that I'm from los angeles? well the rumors are true for once. well I gotta get going, work is calling. see ya'! history Maddie was born, and raised in the busy streets of Los Angeles, and although you may think that because of her surroundings she was molded into a plastic, shallow, superficial girl – you'd be wrong. Her small family consists of her older sister Katie (23), her nephew Jude (4), and her hard working father Gary (75). They were always close knit, sticking together through thick, and thin. When her sister became pregnant at eighteen, her father kicked it into overdrive to provide for his expanding family. The girls' mother left when they were young. She was an aspiring model in the city of dreams – who dropped her family just like that when the chance for fame arose. Her father originated in Sapphire Bay, and only moved to Los Angeles due to his wife, wanting her to be happy. After having kids, he stuck around simply because it was easiest. He didn't want to have to up route his family, and get a new job. He never wanted them to have to struggle for what they wanted, and worked through his retirement to provide for them. Only, when he fell sick with Alzheimer’s it was time for Maddie, and Katie to take over the parental role in the family. She was always a happy girl growing up. She was always “glass half full”, full of joy, and optimism. The only reason she turned out this way was because of her supportive father who pulled her through the darkest of times. She was the type of little girl who could happily play on her own for hours, and then turn it all right around and play with other children. She saw the beauty in the little things, and you rarely saw her with anything less then a great smile on her lips. This joy stayed with her all through until the beginning of her teenage years. Sure – she was still the happy little girl, but her mind matured where her heart didn't. She began looking at the world around her with brand new eyes, realizing just how cruel people could be. She started asking questions about her mother, and alas was granted with an “aunt” status when Jude was born. Still, everything was grand in her life. She was still the girl who went outside, and jumped in the puddles when it rained. The girl who liked her hair better when it was a mess, and the girl who would do anything for her family, and friends. Her first boyfriend was Chris “Chuck” Armstrong, and she believed that being with him was the only thing in her life that mattered. She was only seventeen years old, and he twenty-two – but she didn't care. She was easily manipulated by him, even though she refused to see it that way. He was older, and because of that, he forced her into things she typically wouldn't do. He took her virginity, and she gave herself to him over, and over because she was afraid of losing him. She was so lost in a world she believed to be love, that she began neglecting her family. Her dad worked while she was in high-school, and never asked her once to get a job. He said it was better that she focus on her grades, and that was what she did. Even though her father was old, and getting weaker each day, she always believed he could do anything. She was wrong. All at once her world came crashing down. Chuck left her once he had enough of her sex, leaving her heart broken, and alone in the world. Normally her father would help her through things like this, but not this time. Her father's sickness really crept up on them, and hit in the blink of an eye. It started off slow. At first he couldn't remember small things like where he left his phone, or where he parked his car.. but, it got worse. He began forgetting years of his life. Eventually he locked himself back into his younger years, and the only thing he could remember was Sapphire Bay. Maddie, and Katie didn't know what to do, and since their sick father began wondering off in search of his hometown, they decided a nice, peaceful town like he kept describing would be nice for him. They empty his savings, and move to Sapphire Bay, only to find it nothing like Dad described. Only, now they are stuck. Maddie gets a job at the YMCA, as a lifeguard, and begins working all the time to support the family. For the first time in her life she has a negative outlook on the world. She wants nothing more then to backtrack, and go back. Back into Chuck's arms. Back to where her father was still her bestfriend. Back to when everything made sense. Since her sister Katie is typically busy with Jude, Maddie is forced to be one of the sole providers for them, and it's not easy with their dad's medical bills piling up. personality Once upon a time, Maddie hadn't a single negative aspect to her personality. She was the type of girl who could spend hours staring up at the stars, and skipping through puddles. She looked at the world with wonder, and optimism, only now things have changed. She spent most of her years in her childish haze. She never really grew up, and no one ever told her that it was necessary. Only when her father grows sick, she realizes that for the first time in her life she has to act her age. Don't get her wrong though - at heart she's simply a scared little girl. All she wants in life is to curl up in her father's arms, and sob hysterically. But, she has to be a big girl now. She can't be distracted by the rain, or the beautiful night sky, she has to be the adult. She tries so hard to come off knowledgeable, and collected, but it's obvious she's not. She is easily overwhelmed, and when his happens she chews at her bottom lip (sometimes to the point of bleeding) and paces back, and forth. She is easily frustrated, and although she is not violent by nature, she often tries to distance herself when this happens. She often seems close to tears, but refuses to cry around people. She is still sweet, and friendly – willing to do whatever it takes to make people happy. She's constantly trying to please everyone, and because of this often puts herself last. She has terrible self-esteem. It's a horrible flaw, she knows this. She can see the beauty in everything, except for herself. Because of this whenever she smiles, she covers her mouth. She also is very shy, and blushes at the simplest of things. Trust is something that she finds hard to come by now-a-days. Her first, and only boyfriend used her, and tossed her aside, and because of this it is hard for her to open up her heart. He was the only person who ever made her feel beautiful, and because of that now she feels hideous. Maddie is also hard working unlike most of the girls she meets. She always had the necessities of life, but now she's on her own, providing for her family. She's never been spoiled, and never expects hand outs. Overall, she's a nice girl. She doesn't drink, or do drugs. She's the bestfriend you'll ever get, but at the same time is easily manipulated, and can be forced into pretty much anything if she believes it's for the better good. | [atrb=width,200] |
role play sample
(this is a sample from another account)
It was obvious the moment that Maddie walked through the front doors just how out of her comfort zone she was in a place like this. All around her people were dancing, hanging out in large groups, and her? Well, she was alone.. as she typically was. The sad truth was that she much enjoyed being that way. She'd spent her entire life all by her lonesome, so now it was survival instinct to the blonde. The soles of her black boots tapped against the floor as she crossed, her grudge exterior somehow mixing in with the dance-floor full of stilettos, and various heels. The only reason she was here tonight was because of how lonely she was growing. Being by herself was what she enjoyed, but all the quiet somehow managed to drive her crazy – her mind wondering, and having nothing to block out her thought process. Tonight was dedicated to pumping a few drinks into her, enough to make her mind hazy. If she could get her hands on some good weed she'd be set – but somehow she doubted that wasG going to happen. She going to take whatever she could get, and a couple shots were a given - maybe she'd even find a cute boy to take back to her motel room.
The night was limitless, and even though her surroundings were questionable at best, that didn't mean that she couldn't have some fun.
Her first stop was the bar.. obviously. She wasn't tipsy enough to enjoy the presence of the strangers gathered around, so alcohol was at the top of her list. She was a tad more enjoyable when she was sipping on her liquid bitch thinner. Standing patiently beside one of the high bar stools, she ordered a lager, eager to just get her beer, and get away already. After slipping the man a five, she took the offered glass, and turned on her heels – her eyes once again scanning the room. This wasn't going to get her drunk, but it was a nice transition into heavier drinking that would take place later in the night. She took a long sip from the high brimmed glass, and began walking yet again with no set destination in mind. She didn't even spot a single face she knew, but that didn't surprise her much. She was far away from her home, and besides those who were on tour with her, she didn't know anyone. Gulping the foamy liquid, she hoped that it was doing it's job, and making her slightly more personable.
Somewhere along the line Maddie had stopped watching where her feet were going. Her attention was elsewhere, more preoccupied with trying to scope out a good time. She didn't even notice someone cutting across her path, and if she hadn't abruptly run into another body - all could have been forgiven. A male who was nor good looking, nor apologetic sent her spewing forward, the drink in her hand flying from the cup, as the blonde fell to her knees in a broken heap. At first she was so caught up in rage that her only reaction was to punch the man in the face, but then she realized she wasn't the only one impacted. Her eyes instantly jolted to the poor girl the contents of her beer had spilled onto. If it had been any other situation, Maddie would have had no shame being a bitch about what happened. But, since it hadn't been her fault, she felt the need to apologize. “Watch where you are going next time, jackass!” She shouted, shoving the man in his bulky chest. With a frown, her eyes returned to the girl. She looked familiar, she'd probably seen her in passing while on tour. “I'm sorry that asshole didn't know where he was going,” She laughed.
