she honestly had no idea. even growing up she was awkward. she had read the first article of la lately and noticed that someone took a picture of her dancing, drunkenly at a frat party. why she even went to that party was beyond her. remi was responsible, mature and knew that she had to live up to the russo name, however she knew that was going to be difficult with her sister acting up again. her sister and remi were both in the same situation, somewhat. both were being attacked by this 'gabby gossip' remi was being viewed as a partying whore, and cory was being looked at as a pregnant girl who got back with her cheating ex. thinking of this just made her angry. remi wasnt one to have a temper, but something about her name being lied about pissed her off. snapping back to reality at the sound of the gurgling baby remi looked down. she was cute, and she was olivers daughter, no doubt. the two looked exactly the same. a small smile formed at the corner of remi's lips as she leaned forward and rubbed the babies cheeks making a face at her. "she is adorable ol" remi said as she stood up straight, she looked at him, her smile still there and let out a sigh. "so youre back for good?" she answered his statement of being moved back here with her own question. if he was back for good she knew there was no way of avoiding her feelings for him. no way to avoid the fact that she loved him. still loved him, always would love him. she smiled up at him feeling more comfortable now. remi was only awkward for one reason, she knew that oliver could get angry and she didnt want to make him mad. looking over at where he was sitting she nodded over at the table. "lets sit" she said welcoming herself to the empty seat. sitting there, she felt weird. is this how it would have been if she had the baby? seeing how oliver was with daisy just made her heart melt even more. she knew that she couldnt go through that again, however as much as she told herself that she knew she would. if oliver asked her to marry him right then and there in half moon remi wouldve broken out crying and screamed yes. she loved oliver, still did, always did. things were better back when they were together. remi was happier, she was more active and more focused on her life with oliver. you would think that after breaking up with him remi would focus on getting better, not try to think about him, but it was quite the opposite. oliver ran through her head all night and all day everyday. there wasnt a moment from the day that they broke up till the moment right now where she wasnt thinking about him. something so miniscule as an old song that was popular three years ago or the way someone ate reminded her of oliver. he wasnt hard to forget. she knew that by now, he most likely hated her, and remi was ok with that. what she did was wrong, it was stupid and dumb. the smartest thing that she did was not leave right ow the moment he came up to her. remi was really sorry for what she did, but right now and right here were not the place to talk about such things, so she decided small talk was best for now. answering his question her eyes lit up and smiled as the baby looked at her intensly, making gurgling sounds. remi made a few faces at her. "oliver, she is beautiful. i know i keep saying it but...wow!" she looked at him and smiled. she couldnt believe this. he was a father, and a damn good one. "she is lucky to have such a great guy like you in her life" remi looked down at her coffee her voice hushed, after a few moments she looked up. realizing that she never answered his question she shrugged. "well, ive been better i guess. ive had to start helping cory again, she isnt eating at all now. its getting bad. but besides from being full time big sister, im same old me" she shrugged agagin and chuckled. "besides little miss adorable, how are you?" she said looking at the baby and playing a mini game of peek-a-boo. remi loved babies, and daisy had already won her heart. FLEMING @ CAUTION 2.0 |
