[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: none;,true][cs=2][atrb=width,300] hey there. the name's nathan roman williamson! i go by nate too if you were wondering. also i'll have you know that i am 23 & loving it. oh. you've heard that I'm sexuality? & that I'm from florence, MT? well the rumors are true for once. well I gotta get going, wilderness retreats are calling. see ya'! history Nate was born into a loving family. In fact, his parents had been married three years, happily, before they had him, and they were completely content to stay together forever. They had opened a business, one for wilderness retreats, shortly after getting married, and business was booming when the lady of the house got pregnant. After Nate was born, people often told his mother and father that he was a wonderfully handsome baby - that he would grow up to break hearts with his blue eyes and his blond hair. Little did anyone know that his heart would be broken long before that. One night, Nate's father went out to watch a hockey game with his friends while his mother stayed home with the (then three-year-old). Unfortunately, fate stepped in, and Nate's father never returned home. In the years subsequent, Nate's mother Loretta fell deep into depression, and family friends often took care of Nate's basic needs, or he cared for himself. When he turned eight, he was nearly self sufficient. The business was barely running, because his mother let it fall to shit after his father's death. Nate made dinner every night, made sure his mother ate, and started going out on retreats every weekend. He took solace in figuring out new routes, and learning the ways of his father's brain child. But his weekdays, at school, where he was mocked for not having a father. When he was in high school, he took up football to help with his aggression, but he was never particularly good, and ended up on the second string. He quit quickly and started hanging around with the outcasts, who all smoked, drank, and did all sorts of crazy things. His sarcasm became his defense against bullies, his smoking a reason to get out of the house. He also had a string of women coming in and out of his life throughout high school and tends to avoid emotional attachment becaus eof the pain his mother feels. personality In general, Nate is talented, artistic, funny, and has a social ease. He tends to gravitate towards similar people, and has a knack for finding them as friends. He's lucky, easygoing and sensible, but can also be vain, superficial, and is sometimes unfocused. He's also hardworking, loves animals, and doesn't mind cold weather. As much as he loves his mom, he dreams of breaking free from the hold she has on him. His biggest fear is ending up devastated and sad like his mother; she had everything and lost it in a flash and never truly recovered, something that terrifies him. In love, he enjoys a challenge, a chase. He wants to find a girl for him but he would rather spend time chasing the ones who don't seem to want him than going for the ones who would probably be good for him. He isn't loyal to anyone but himself and his horse, and nothing will change that as far as he can see. Nate is also very stubborn and set in his ways; he smokes, he's sarcastic, and he's happy enough that way. | [atrb=width,200] |

Erica wasn't used to this work load. High school was much easier; it was a smaller course load, of course, since she only had to take the courses that pertained to becoming a law enforcement officer, but at the same time, each of her six courses took individually more time than two of her high school courses had. It was for that reason that, during her finals, Erica held herself up in the library for days on end, only leaving to sleep at home. She would eat breakfast with her father, then head to the library with a packed lunch, and at some point break to go get dinner.
That was what she was doing at four pm on a Wednesday, sitting alone at a table in Moby's with three books around her plate of french fries, the rest of her food long gone. She had probably been at the diner about an hour, and she knew her food was getting cold, but the passage she was reading was very important, so Erica apologized to the waitress as she ordered another cup of tea, because the woman didn't seem pleased with Erica's lack of movement. She seemed to study better with a mug of steaming tea, and the booth was more comfortable than the chairs in the library...
In fact, having finished the paragraph she was on, Erica lifted her hands over her head and stretched backwards, feeling her spine spread slightly and sighing in content. The day before she had been at the library from the time it opened to the time it closed, and she hadn't even broken for dinner. Her back, when the librarian told her that the place was closing, felt like it was going to stay curled into a hunchback forever. Even still, she felt pain in her lower back from the way she'd been disregarding her exercise and hunching over books and tables.
In her stretching, she noticed that the door opened and one of the most handsome men she'd ever seen walked in. Unable to help herself, she blushed at being caught stretching, despite the fact that she wasn't even sure he was looking at her. To hide her reaction, Erica looked down at her books again, her hair covering the tint of her cheeks at least for a moment.
