history:
fabian never quite fit in. he was often referred to as the "black sheep" of his family. he did not enjoy the flashy cars, he did not like the private schools and he certainly did not like the formal events his parents dragged him to every month. no, fabian never did fit in. he was born to two parents who never dreamed of raising a child, let alone one that did not enjoy living in the lap of luxury! harold and laura rhodes never understood their son and never took the time to. laura, a celebrity stylist, spent most of her time traveling the world, hitting movie sets and serving celebrities low fat mocha lates instead of raising her child. she did not want to jeopardize her job, or her youth, to take care of some bratty little pis-ants. sadly, fabian's father felt the same way. a top notch lawyer in the big apple, he did not have much time to raise the boy himself. instead he hired a nanny,
the woman who raised fabian could have claimed he was her child. they both shared the same dark hair, silly smile and ghost white skin. sometimes fabian would pretend rochelle was, indeed, his mother in hopes that it would somehow become true. fabian loved his nanny-ro very much. she was like a mother to him. rochelle taught him to read, to write - but most importantly she taught him how to love. how to love other people and not just the money that his parents seemed to crave. rochelle taught fabian how to be a kind young man, how to treat others with respect and maintain a sense of self-confidence. fabian is thankful, to this very day, that he had rochelle around to set a good example.
