The brunette bobbed her head and moved her hips to the beat of the music blasting in the tiny hot pink ear buds in her multi-pierced ears with little gold studs going up along its length. She wore nothing fancy; a yellow high waist skirt with her navy sweater tucked in, some maroon flats, her cat eye sunglasses on so her piercing blue orbs were obscured, and a royal blue cross body bag going across her chest. Her long hair was in a messy yet chic braid on her shoulder and she had put eyeliner on her top lid, only a line that flicked up a bit at the end, some mascara, and then red lipstick. Her freckles were still very obvious, freckles she knew she'd probably never get used to. Overall, she looked younger than she actually was which she didn't mind. She wasn't thirty yet so she didn't think she had much to worry about in the age department. Playing with the end of the braid, she twirled it around her finger over and over, enjoying the baby soft texture of it as she looked at the fish swimming by in the large tank before her. She was listening to Top Of The World by That Cataracs which was upbeat enough to keep her satisfied until she felt the need to switch to another song to abuse.
It wasn't late, but the aquarium would probably close in about an hour and though it was dark out, thanks to winter, she still wore her sunglasses. It was out of habit considering who her family was and her last name. It was why she always tried different looks. As of lately, there were too many Italians in the area and she was having trouble with the entire thing. She had gotten used to just her and her brothers but now there were other people involved. Last time she got someone involved, she had to shoot them in front of her father just to prove her worth-to prove she would always choose blood over water. Maybe that was why she was forever single and hopping from guy to guy like it didn't mean anything to her. They all did, even if she didn't admit it verbally.
Hearing an announcement that the place would close in an hour, she looked up at the speaker looking circle before looking around to see if anyone else was around. She always came here to think. Hands down. It was relaxing even with children running around. She didn't need kids. Her brothers were children on their own and taking care of them was a full time job. As she looked over to her right, still moving her hips and bobbing her head a bit to the beat, her eyes landed on a tall guy she couldn't help but want to lick her lips toward but she refrained mostly because she had lipstick on and didn't want it on her white teeth. She put her sunglasses on top of her head, her original intention being to just strike up a conversation. She needed entertainment and he was the only person around so why not. Walking over with ease, she smiled at him before looking over at the fish he was looking at, "Relaxing, huh?" her Irish accent was a bit faded, having had been mixed in with the New York accent she had acquired after living there for so long. It wasn't an uncommon mixture, thank God, but it hid the fact she was straight from Ireland which she liked, "They should keep this place opened all the time-as a precaution." She was hoping he wouldn't suddenly write her off as a creeper and if he did, she'd just rip him a new one verbally. She wasn't stupid and normally not mean. She liked being friendly and if he wanted to be a douche bag she could be one back.
