I was born and raised in Monaco, Monaco. My mother was Her Royal Highness and my father was His Royal Highness. My older brother was a bit hectic. He had a thing for sailing and he passed away when he was twenty five three years ago. He never married and he never had children. But like I said. What you really want to know? I couldn't tell you even if I wanted to. I'm engaged to be married to Jean-Francois, the Crowned Prince of Saint Lucia though his is mostly only for show while my crown actually means something. My parents passed away three months ago and though my fiancee is fourteen years my senior, I am over the age of eighteen and thus it is perfectly acceptable. That and the other option is marrying a third cousin or something-which I highly doubt would go over well with anyone, myself included. You could say I was secretly free spirited as a child. I liked horseback riding, running, doing sprints and marathons. I loved ballet and the opera. I often went to Monte Carlo just to relax and be away from Monaco for a bit. I loved traveling and dancing, singing , and swimming. You could say I wasn't so cruel as the world seems to view me as. My people of Monaco love me, adore me, and can't fathom why people think I am so cold hearted when I give them everything they could ever possibly need. I met Jean when I was fifteen years old on my birthday in Monte Carlo. I was having a ball for my "sweet fifteen" and he was twenty nine years old. Even then, I was smitten by him. He seemed charming as we danced but he seemed indifferent to my behavior. You could say it was because I was so young and he knew he was to marry me only because he refused to marry anyone else. He was already fourteen years old when I was born. I can only imagine how upset he must have been upon hearing the news that he was going to be marrying a child. It wasn't all that common anymore for such a thing to happen and the same night I became smitten by him and our dancing, he took me to the top floor of the large hotel we were in and gave me my first kiss, smiled at me, and told me to keep it our little secret. Being the doe eyed girl I was, I nodded as he handed me a single stem of Baby's Breath, my favorite, and left. The next time I saw him was when my mother passed away. We stood at her funeral and the way he looked at me was different. He always looked so much younger than he actually was. He was thirty four by then and all I could really do was stand there and I chose Sapphire Bay because it was tucked away from Los Angeles and San Diego, wasn't as hectic as New York City or Chicago, and didn't have so many tourists or people that could know me like in Florida. I arrived three weeks ago and so far... All is well that ends well. STEPH- HAG -FOREVER |
