we're better off apart

FRIENDS: Pierce is relatively friendly, but will only have a few really good friends to be his rock. He's not a stable person with all that has happened to him, so friends are good... friends are welcome. No snobs, or people of the sorts. He's sometimes a jerk himself, so yeah, assholes can apply here too.

ENEMIES: He's going to have a few of these. You call him anything but Pierce, or mention his brother or parents, you automatically have a broken nose... and/or a black eye. He's physically violent, but being an English major, he knows his way around some insults too.

LOVE: Pierce has already had his heartbroken. Twice. By the same girl. He doesn't trust love. Therefore, currently he sleeps around. However, I think it would be awesome for him to eventually fall for someone else.

best friends. caleb needs a guy friend and he just found his best friend, haha. he's a twenty-five year old police officer that enjoys having fun and is totally laid back about everything. i could see him and pierce just hanging around, having a couple of beers, and just being guys. he'd probably just invite himself over pierce's house if his buddy didn't mind. and unless pierce talked about his history, caleb wouldn't really ask. he understands the whole privacy idea and that would just be another example of him respecting privacy.

I could definitely see Pierce and Caleb being best friends. Just for a little background: perhaps they met at a bar, where Pierce struck up a fight and Caleb stopped it but didn't do anything to Pierce? etc, etc?

Secretly I don't think Pierce would care if he came into his apartment on a whim lol.
