She's twenty six years old, currently in the United States Marine Corp on reserve for the next four years, and a police officer. Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, she was that chick in school that had braces and glasses, messy hair always short and in a ponytail, and had all the guy friends but never the boyfriends. She continued being the tomboy she was until she graduated from the police academy and joined the USMC after the death of her father. Somehow, the chicks in her squad decided to give her a makeover. Gone went the braces and glasses, a sexy haircut, a new wardrobe, and with all the working out she did, she was suddenly drop dead gorgeous when she came back to Sapphire Bay four-almost five-years later. Now, all the guys who once pegged her for a closet lesbian and total dude has the new and improved Devon: a sexy police officer who went from goofy and loose jeans to sophisticated and pumps. Overall, Devon is a pretty laid back person though she used to be one hell of a pushover. Now, she tends to not take much from other people. She doesn't give people the benefit of the doubt as quickly and most say she's got this bitter mysteriousness around her instead of how goofy she used to be. However, with her friends she'd probably still let her goofy, joker self shine through when they least expected it. With enemies, chances are she would just shrug it all off and walk away. She tends to hate drama. With lovers she's all open-and bi curious-but there is a request for her police partner right here-who she has some major history and problems with. SO PLOT HER UP!

well, shasta would hate her. haha there'd be a thread of that "why are you gorgeous now when you used to look like a dog?" kind of jealousy she would feel. devon is from sapphire bay, right? so she and shasta most likely would have gone to school together, and it's highly she would hate shasta too because shassy is that 'queen bee' bitchy type that everyone hates because she was popular and they weren't. however, since devon is as laidback as she is, she probably wouldn't care about shas's social status in high school, but maybe have a dislike for her knowing who she was then? ultimately, shasta would see her as a threat because of her beauty whether devon gave a crap or not. so it could even be a one-sided thing, whatever would work best for your character.

so remember that plot i was selling to you about porter finding out about the drug dealing nolan at some point in the future and selling him out to the cops in his attempt to 'save' his bffl svet? maybe devon could be the cop he's working with to do it? he just needs someone to be a rat to. muwhaha

FERRIS / ARIADNE

ferris is an ass of a photographer who's essentially sapphire bay's Beast. he closes himself off from the world in an attempt to save the world from himself, so unless he got drunk and was unruly in public, we'd have to be creative with how to plot them. as for ariadne, i could see her getting picked up by the cops for hooking (she's a prostitute in her spare time lmao), and devon tries to talk some sense into her? they could turn out to be buds.

SHASTA & LESLIE:

Leslie actually grew up in Las Vegas and didn't come to Sapphire Bay until after she graduated-for the police academy. However, she was geeky and ugly then still so it could still happen. Like if Shasta recognized her, Les would be like MWUAHAHA IN YOUR FACE :3 and then get over it and walk away. A moment of bragging before she let the subject drop and continued on her way xD After all, Leslie does have her immature moments...xD

FERRIS & LESLIE:

Yeah, she'd have no problem arresting him. She doesn't like putting up with drunks. Her father was one and he was the only one she ever really did put up with because he was blood and she loved him to bits regardless. But everyone else? She'll throw their ass in jail. xD Even if it's just for a night.

ARIADNE & LESLIE:

Leslie would definitely try to knock some sense into her. I don't think she'd arrest her, as long as she comes to the station everyday for at least an hour and she and Leslie try to come up with a way for her to get a job that pays better than the prostitution at the station where she doesn't need a degree? She'd do anything to keep her off the streets <3

charlotte probably would have never heard of devon, just because she's all into being the best and knowing the richest people in the town.

caleb and devon

caleb is the deputy police officer here at sapphire bay so the two would have to know about each other. i could see these two being awesome friends. like, caleb would just call her up and be like 'hey. pretty girl. wanna get a beer?' and flirt with her even though they would only be friends. but like i said, friends for the win! they could also work together and do police officer stuff together, cause that's what cool people do!
