[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: none;,true][cs=2][atrb=width,300] hey there. the name's flynn casey kavanagh! i go by flynn or dr. no to some people too if you were wondering. also i'll have you know that i am twenty-six & loving it. oh. you've heard that I'm heterosexual? & that I'm from dublin, ireland? well the rumors are true for once. well I gotta get going, the hospital and the mafia are calling. see ya'! history Flynn Kavanagh is one of the many bastard children of Kipper Selwyn. The thing that's different about Flynn is that Kip had actually wanted him around until the man went crazy over the loss of his brother. Flynn was special for some reason and many believe it was because he was the first spawn of the Irish devil. Fly's mother, Eloise Kavanagh was sixteen when she became pregnant with their son and she has not left Kip's side since. She knew that he was a man whore and she'd never change that, but it was something that she needed to accept. She wanted Flynn to have a father in his life because she didn't want him to suffer the way that she did. Despite the fact that Kipper had a mysterious background, she gave herself blindly to him, letting him play one of the most vital roles in his son's life. And because of that, Flynn is extremely close with his father and has been since he was very little. They've become a bit estranged ever since Kip's mental lapse and Flynn is actually taking that rather hard now. But that's for later. Flynn was a regular bouncing baby boy while he lived with his mother. They would go and visit Kipper as much as possible and the three of them seemed to get along very well. Flynn attached himself to Kipper almost immediately and that seemed to soften him slightly. He loved his father and still does and it was quite apparent that the two would be close. It didn't take a genius and Eloise was absolutely ecstatic. She had been wary of the idea at first because she wasn't sure how Kipper was going to take Flynn. But as long as the boy didn't interfere with anything in Kipper's life for the most part then everything was alright. Soon enough, Eloise would leave Flynn with Kipper, but that wasn't until he turned six. It was then that Kipper gave Flynn the inside look on his father's life. Flynn was sold from the first moment he saw his first gun at the age of seven. He wanted to learn that life, wanted his father to teach him everything. The deal was though that he couldn't tell mom. Flynn had no problem agreeing to that deal and that was when he first learned that he could lie and hide things extremely well, probably no thanks to his dear old dad. Flynn started training when he was old enough, excelling in hand to hand combat when he entered high school. That was when he joined the wrestling team and that only served to aid him in his quest to become stronger and more capable of fighting. He was already one of the most well aimed shooters in the mafia, and he was rather good with scheming and stealing as well. His father was proud of him and they were spending more and more time together. Not only was he close with his father, but with the rest of the Selwyns as well. He was the cousin to Connor, Lennox, Asher and the rest and he seemed to fit in extremely well. He grew closer to Connor than any of the other Selwyns. It was probably because of their similarity in age. He also grew close to his Uncle Kyson, which made it harder for him when the man was killed in the earthquake in Sapphire Bay. Flynn had been visiting there, for he was still attending medical school in Ireland. When he heard of the death of his Uncle, he took it hard, but not as hard as his father did. The twenty three year old returned to Dublin with Kipper though, being the loyal son that he always had been. Eloise was waiting there for them with Tessa, which was something that was greatly appreciated in Flynn's mind. Now, not only was the boy dealing with a death, but he was dealing with his father's unstable mental state as well. The young man was confused, but he was thankful for the help from the women. It allowed him to go to school to finish what he started. Flynn became interested in the medical world after he killed his first man at the age of sixteen. While the other kids his age were out playing sports and doing who knew what else, Flynn started losing himself in the library. It was there that he researched the anatomy of a person, and it was there that he decided he wanted to become a doctor. Instead of fooling around with his studies, he became one of the best scholars in the Selwyn family, and was the only one to become a doctor. He finished the required schooling without complaint even if it did take quite some time. He appreciated every moment of it. However, he isn't that straight laced doctors that most patients are used to. If you pay him well enough and if you keep your mouth shut, he'll get you any drug of choice. When he started at the hospital he was interning at, his intelligence and mafia background allowed him to break into the medicinal store room multiple times. And not only did he steal for patients, but he stole for himself as well and still does. He discovered his first vice and that was getting high off any drug he could get his hands on. Flynn gets high for a multitude of reasons, but he does it a lot to forget about the problems his father is having. Always a bit more sensitive when it came to his close relationships, he does what he can to forget. Getting high allows that and he can still do his job. He's back in Sapphire Bay now, working at the hospital as one of the best. If the mafia needs a job done, he can get it done from the inside. He loves being here and closer to his family, and his relationship with Connor is growing once more. He's happy now. personality Flynn is probably one of the most suave young gentleman that anyone would ever come across. He says the right things at exactly all the right times and it's like he was practically born to get what he wanted simply by speaking. He knows how to get to the ladies and he uses that to his complete advantage. While he isn't nearly as much the man whore as his father was and still is in some ways, he knows how to get a lady into his bed. Notice the key words there: a lady. He isn't one of those guys who will let anyone into his bed. They have to have some class for he is a doctor after all. He doesn't take lightly to the average horny ho, and will do everything in his power to make sure he's only sleeping with the most polished. Of course he has to have a little give, for he isn't looking for a relationship here. One night stands are his things to be perfectly honest. And he is not the kind of guy who will mix business with pleasure, so good luck if you're a nurse at Sapphire Bay or if you're a part of the Irish mafia. Flynn just isn't into creating drama in the work place. That's not his style either. He isn't used to getting no for an answer either, so he won't take that lightly. He will get back at anyone who decides they think it's wise to pull the wool over his eyes. He didn't go through school for nothing, and he didn't become a doctor because of his looks. He's intelligent and he can pick up on things that most people can't. It's good to have a brain like his in the Irish mafia to be perfectly honest. While he might come off as a charming asshole, he does actually want to help people. The reason he became a doctor was because of the struggles he watched his family go through. He felt that if maybe he could have been there to help at any given time, things would be different. Like with his Uncle Kyson. If he had been trained medically then, and if he had been with them that day, maybe he could have saved them. He's still a bit bitter towards himself because of these realizations. The man takes things personally which can be considered his greatest downfall. While he isn't some Sensitive Sally moping around if someone offends him, he does take it to heart. However, he's quiet about it and his silence gives proof to the fact that something is bothering him. He isn't one to talk about his feelings so good luck with that. He's good with a gun, and even better with his hands when it comes to a fight, but he really isn't as violent as the rest of the members of the mafia. He'll do what he needs to do though, for this is his life style. He'll never give that up. But his focus is on his medical career in and out of the mob. He's not the straight laced doctor that most believe him to be either. He isn't under giving someone drugs if they pay him the right price, and he has perfected the art of stealing from the pharmacy so that no one will know or be the wiser. He makes certain that he covers his tracks and he never shows up high to work. That'd be the biggest and most unintelligent mistake of his life. He's addicted to laughing gas as well, otherwise known as nitrous oxide. It's so bad that he carries a tank of it around with him in his car, and he'll even sell out some whiffs if he's feeling generous and is in the right neighborhood. Dr. No, as some of the mob so affectionately refer to him as, has been known to off some of their enemies in the hospital setting as well. While nicer than most of the mafia members, he's been known to have a bit of a temper as well, so don't cross him when he's in one of his moods. He is a good guy though and means well. But what happened to his father has really set him off, especially because he can't heal him with his medical background. He doesn't like not being able to fix a situation, but it is what is is. She needed a place in which she could blend in. She had just performed a job and that job had gone horribly wrong. Eli had been set up. It had been a trap and she was furious. It was as if it was a repeat of what had happened to her when she was in the Marines, and her hands were shaking wildly. She had succeeded in killing the man but she had almost lost her life as well. She couldn't go to the hospital for her wounds even though she probably should. But this was Eli here and when did she ever do what she was supposed to do? An angry welt was visible upon her right cheek and it was slowly becoming surrounded by a bruise. The bloody bastards had bronze knuckles and she had suffered. Her ribs were what hurt the most and she was worried that she had broken one because of their violence. As soon as she had pulled the trigger of her gun she had been surrounded by five men. She knew that if she didn't kill them all she wouldn't make it out of there alive. So she had gone into a frenzy, but not before they got her down first.
She didn't know how she got out of there alive. She certainly didn't want to question it but she knew that she needed to blend in somewhere. She looked normal enough, for her black outfit was something that could be considered stylish. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a braid so that it was out of her face for a clear shot, but she now wished she could take it down to hide the marks on her face. She didn't want anyone to notice her cracked lip and her bruised cheek. She didn't want anyone to see her clutching her abdomen as if her life depended on it. She didn't want anyone to see her wincing when she took a wrong step. Shaking her head, she saw the lights and heard the sounds up ahead. That peaked her interest and for a moment she stopped, looking over her shoulder. She couldn't know if they were following her. She couldn't know if there had been anymore men. She just couldn't know. Furrowing her brow, she started down the hill to the carnival for it would give her the perfect cover.
It didn't take her very long to get into the grounds without having to pay a thing to enter. She was a criminal after all and she knew how to get into places without being noticed. Clenching her teeth, she forced herself to walk normally so that no one would notice her. Her blue eyes calculated the crowds around her, and she was more than thankful when she saw the benches placed in the middle of everything. Carnival enthusiasts were gathered all around the area, eating the food and playing the games. Eli just needed to sit. Once she got to the bench she lowered herself down gingerly, hissing as she felt the strain on her ribs. Feeling slightly more relaxed, she gazed around the area. As a young man came here way, she narrowed her eyes, praying he wasn't from the group she had just taken out. But he had one of the goofiest smiles upon his face. "Heya babe. What are you doing by yourself?" Don't make a scene. Don't make a scene. She put on the most fake smile she could produce. "I'm waiting for someone so I suggest you return to your friends before I make you." She smiled sweetly and saw his stunned expression. Something about her made him trot back to his group. Shaking her head, she took a deep breath, wondering how this entire situation could have gone so wrong.
