Channing Babineaux – younger brother, grade school student. history: Honey and Sweety were the only product of the short lived marriage between Lindsey Dupont, beauty queen and icon of the 80’s and early 90’s, and Armand Babineaux, owner of a European jewelry empire. The marriage last two years, one year before the twins were born and one year after, and once the divorce was finalized, the girls moved to their mother’s lavishing apartment in Paris, France while their father resided in the French countryside, in the words of their mother exactement là où il appartient – exactly where it belongs. When the divorce hit the media, it was filed under “irreconcilable differences” or in the very bright words of a young Honey they just didn’t give a damn. Considered the “good” twin because of her intelligence and lack of trouble making skills, she was born the youngest of the two but always acted like the older. Sweety, on the other hand, was known for back talking, having anger issues, and was known for wearing dark and dreary colors. By thirteen, both girls had picked up smoking mostly because, while trying to impersonate one another, it was necessary though Sweety had to wear contacts since Honey did not possess her crystal blue eyes. The two spent the school year with their mother, attending a prestigious, all girls’ academy in the city and during their long summers, they would spend it with their father, who remarried when the girls’ were fourteen to an upcoming lawyer who fell pregnant with his child. Though Honey did not really hold grudges (she was more of the fairytale type, you see. She likes rainbows and butterflies where as her sister, well, didn’t), Sweet became increasingly more rebellious and became well known in the media, by sixteen, for flashing them, giving them the finger, shouting obscenities, partying , drinking, and doing drugs. Her mother didn’t try to hide it but she would deny the fact her daughter was becoming a train wreck and the other was studying and taking ballet, already appearing in popular shows and movies, even if the roles were small. By seventeen, Sweety had packed her things and moved to some town called Sapphire Bay and from there, cut off contact with the entire family. Only Honey knew of her whereabouts and despite their arguments in the past, Honey did try to help her sister as much as she could before, eventually, Sweety landed herself on Celebrity Rehab for her sex addiction by the time she was eighteen. It was then that Honey popped into the picture on the show not as someone to “enroll” into the rehab, but as Sweety’s lone visitor. After Sweety’s release, the two were approached by a Hollywood agent, already knowing the beautiful socialites, and convinced them to do a reality show about their own lives. The show was labeledcheekily labeled Crème de la Crème because of their French background and soon enough, the twins were known notoriously for Sweety’s antics, wild, and rowdy behavior and Honey’s parental, humorous, occasionally childish, and almost princess like mannerisms.
