| [cs=2] likes: the whole club scene, getting drunk, women, playing them and anyone who crosses his path, being the "bad" cop, abusing his power, showing that he's better than everyone else. dislikes: being a cop, the fact that he ruined his friendship with devon, the fact that he cuddled with devon, he really does hate being a womanizer but he'll never admit that, he hates being told what to do, and he hates the fact that he now has to face what he's been avoiding for five years. personality: womanizer, a regular jerk, pompous, arrogant, carefree, reckless, but he does have a sweet side. you just have to dig deep. family: no one that's worth mentioning. he has a father and a mother, as well as a sister but he doesn't talk to them. they moved from sapphire bay when he turned eighteen and he hasn't missed them since. history: he was a terror the day that he was born, and his mother knew that he was going to be a handful. he was involved in trouble from day one, and as he got older it only grew worse. of course his father was a cop so he did all that he could to keep his kid out of trouble. that meant turning a blind eye when he did something illegal as well, because to be honest, graeson completed more illegal tasks than legal ones, especially when he turned twelve. it was like someone switched a switch and off he went. his father set an example for gray though, and he realized that it was completely acceptable to ignore some things when people did something wrong, especially if they gave you some type of payment. so throughout high school, if graeson caught you doing something, he wouldn't rat you out. but you could bet that you were going to do something for him because his father always made him do something for him. however, gray just got worse as he got older. he was finally arrested as a juvenile and the cop there made him think that maybe he wanted to become a cop. so his sophomore year of high school made him turn a new leaf. he was nicer, he followed the rules and he didn't talk back to any of his teachers. however, he made a new discovery. girls were extremely attracted to him, and he ran with it. they would fawn over him and giggle at whatever he said, and he had to admit that he didn't mind it. except some girls were hideous and left a sick taste in his mouth after they even touched his shoulder of something like that. so he became a womanizer. but only for the pretty ones. he wasn't going to waste his time with unattractive girls. that would be foolish. so he became a regular jerk to the girls that he found ugly, and they kept their distance. he ran in the popular crowd in school because of his bad boy tendencies and everyone respected that as well as him. he wasn't really a bully and he never got into a fist fight. he kept up his innocent image to the adults like it was his job. they figured he had really changed for the better after he was arrested for trespassing. things seemed to be going well for the young dylan boy. he told his father that he wanted to become a cop, and his dad was actually happy to hear that and was proud. he would help him every step of the way. until the night that everything changed. gray had graduated from high school, and he had just turned eighteen. his father wasn't ready to let him go yet, but gray was looking for an apartment to move in with his best friend ashton. they were excited to be getting on with their lives but his father brought his world crashing down. his mother refused to let him get an apartment as well, and that was when graeson started rebelling against them. they told him they were moving. he was coming whether he liked it or not. so the night before they were supposed to move, he packed every single thing that he owned, which was quite a lot and took off. he didn't stay at ashton's because he knew that they would come looking there. he bounced around place to place in his car which was packed full until he was certain that his family had skipped town. he knew that wouldn't stay for long. so after that, gray got a full time job before he entered the academy so he could afford things. he stayed with ashton and his family so that he could save the money. he entered the academy a year later and that was where he met his other best friend. leslie devon. she wasn't pretty, and she was certainly not the feminine type of woman. that allowed graeson to get extremely close to her, and he found another best friend in the academy. he spent his every day with her and was completely loyal and trusting of her. he told her everything and she told him everything as well. he loved her as a best friend and he'd do anything for her. she was the one that made him start to turn around. while he had been with pretty much every female cop in the academy, she had him put on the brakes. she alone knew that he didn't really like being who he was and how he was with women, so she got him to settle down. and then their graduation from the academy came and he ruined everything. they were extremely drunk, and one thing led to another. he slept with her. which wouldn't have been that bad but he had cuddled with her. he had let her spend the rest of the night with him when he usually kicked the girl out as soon as they had finished. and besides, she was unattractive! no one could find this out. he kicked her out without a second glance and he regrets it to this day. that's something he'd never admit though, and when he heard she joined the marines because her father died, his heart hurt. his heart. of all hearts. he cared about her and that scared him. he still cares about her and that terrifies him. after all of the woman that he has been with after her, he could never get her out of his mind. he hates her and he loves her for it. but now she's back. after five long years, she's back. gray had basically lost his mind after his partner died in a car crash, and had completely let himself go. he's not sleeping, he's not really eating and he basically looks like crap. he's got dark circles beneath his eyes from the nightmares he has over the car crash that he believes is his fault, and he's been at the bar more than not. if he doesn't slow down, he can be a regular alcoholic. it's awful but he doesn't know how to handle the emotions inside of him. and when leslie came back, things got out of hand with him again. gray didn't even recognize her when she came into the station because well, she was actually good looking. and she was partnered up with him which excited him at first until he realized who she really was. he's trying not to act awkward but it's completely difficult. he doesn't know how to handle himself around or what to do. it's all very confusing and he's trying his best to figure it out. because of it though, he's extremely temperamental and lashes out at everything and everyone. people are steering clear now, and he's no longer turning a blind eye to crimes for payment because he's so irritated and frustrated. he just doesn't know how to handle this situation and that bothers him because he always knows how to handle a situation. melon - 21 - long enough |
