WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING?
I’m a forensic examiner for Sapphire Bay, I majored in forensic toxicology but I do about the work of ten guys, and I love computer forensics and ballistics. However I hate linguistics, most times it means I have to go to court and that usually means I have to defend my work and half the time no one understands a thing of my defenses so really, it is a waste of my time.

WHAT WERE THE LAST FIVE THINGS YOU BOUGHT?
A slurpee, a bag of pretzels, a little thingy of hostess chocolate covered doughnuts, rubber gloves, and hair ties.

Okay so I hate slow walkers, it is just annoying I mean seriously its one foot then the next, how hard is it. I hate it when people think I need help, especially with my work, I won’t say I’m anti-social, I just don’t like people hovering over or around me. I loathe people that try to turn my music down, yes, in my lab the music is blasting most times, but it helps me think! Oh well I can’t say I hate her, but my little sister is constantly getting herself into trouble and it’s just down right annoying.
AND YOUR FEARS?
My friends dying would be my biggest fear, I don’t really get along with my family, and so my friends are like family to me, and I cannot bear the thought of losing them. There being no more slurpees ever, okay so I have a minor addiction to them, and no icees are not slurpees, they are the farthest thing from them. I am not really scared of them, but they make me nervous and okay well a little scared only cause a lot of the times I get to see just exactly how they do things with my work, but I’m scared of those really smart criminals that are really hard to catch. Oh! I fear partial fingerprints, its annoying when all you can get is a partial print but I mean seriously when you are in the middle of a crime war and they are depending on those fingerprints I am scared to death all we will get is a partial. Oh but my second biggest fear, after you know, my friends dying, would probably be a criminal going free. I do everything I can on my behalf to get every little drop of evidence I can and if I can’t do that and some bad guy walks… I am not sure if I would be able to live with myself.
THOSE ARE SCARY. NOW, TELL ME ABOUT YOUR FAMILY. WHAT ARE YOUR MOM AND DAD CALLED, AGES, ANY SIBLINGS AND SUCH?
Okay well, my family is from Virginia, my dad, Gunnery Sergeant Lance Ward, was in the marines, and so were all of his brothers, my mother, Hannah Ward, is deaf, she wasn’t born that way and she wasn’t when she and my dad met, but she never really spoke about what had happened, but anyway thanks to her, me and all my siblings learned sign language. Oh, and I have two brothers, and a little sister. My two brothers are both older than me and like my dad and his brothers, are both former marines. Josh was dishonorably discharged after getting caught doing drugs, yeah I haven’t really seen or spoke to him much since he had to come home and face my father about that, being the oldest of us all I think my dad expected more but anyway, last I heard he was living up in Seattle. Anthony, or Tony, I usually just call him Tony, got back last year from what we hope is his final tour, he is probably the one in my family I love the most, he was the one that sort of always protected me and such, he’s just about five years older than me, so there was a bit of a gap, and I think he got annoyed a little when I would want to hang out with him and his friends but at home he always made time for me.
Then there is Keagan, she’s my little sister, and she’s the troublemaker of the family. I remember it starting when she was about fifteen, she’s just a year younger than me, but I wasn’t really too interested in hanging out with her, but I remember her and my dad getting into fights over her cutting school and her grades and such. Then I don’t know what happened really, she had this boyfriend when she was seventeen, and I wasn’t around, I took the path of my brothers and father and had enlisted and after graduating high school, I went onward and so I was probably in bootcamp while this all was happening. But apparently he got into this mess and then things just started to go downhill and I mean she would be okay for a few months, then either he’d get abusive, or cheat, or she would cheat and ugh it was just a mess. I don’t know to be honest, I just know she lives here in Sapphire Bay and I get to rescue her ass whenever something goes wrong…. Again. But anyway, I went through bootcamp, served my four active years, finished Private First Class with one overseas tour, and they helped pay for my college. I wound up getting a master’s degree in forensic sciences. I lived at home for a little bit, and a few years ago moved here.
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO WITH THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?
I am doing what I love, I’m a forensic examiner. Lame, I know don’t I wish to fall in love or anything, well sure, doesn’t every girl. I’m honestly too wrapped up in my work in most cases to go out seeking love with an iron first, it’s just me. I would however like to take a vacation sometime and go to Hawaii, you know, actually see the island, I was stationed there for a tiny bit when I was in the military but I never actually got to see that beautiful place.
INTERESTING...DO YOU HAVE ANY ANIMALS?
I always wanted a dog, but I’m out of the house so much and I can’t take a dog to work with me so I really can’t, we did have a german sherphed growing up, he was just amazing.
ARE YOU SINGLE? BECAUSE I KNOW SOME PEOPLE MAY FIND YOU ATTRACTIVE.
Haha yeah I’m single, mostly because I work too much. But I’m no stranger for going out with the girls for drinks and just having a little fun, flirting with some guys. And hey, if mister right happens to eventually wander into the picture well then good for me.
