A town founded on dreams and built with vice.
Paradise Falls, AZ, 1869. It’s a town run by its brothels and saloons. Cowboys, outlaws, miners, and frontiersman alike gather to partake in the carnal pleasures. Good people try to stay ahead and make a decent life and living, but the law only has so many hands and the gallows can only hang so many men.
Caught up in the middle of a century long war between the rolling gears of progress and the ancient powers of the natural world the residents of Paradise Falls find themselves at odds with one another. The Transcontinental Railroad seeks to bring civilization to the wild, automatons ponder what freedom would be like, witches seek ancient power to push back the onslaught of businessman and the native Indians refuse to yield their land to these new invaders. And everyone else, well, they just want a piece of this new prosperity to call their own and they don’t care what they have to do to get it.
It’s a world where vampires, werewolves, fairies, shaman, and every sort of supernatural being comes to clash with the steam powered and clockwork inventions of too ambitious men. Come strap a saddle on your horse, put on your goggles, and make sure you have some cold iron in that holster. It’s a new frontier.
