[atrb=width,200]	[atrb=width,200] kale smithson - leading man PB: MILO VENTIMIGLIA kale has been in the movie and tv industry since he was a child. he's a bit of an ass in real life although he always plays a 'good guy' on tv and in his movies. he was the director's first pick for the leading role in this movie, and he would only sign on after given a two million dollar deal to star in the film. he's used to getting what he wants, and he's cutthroat when it comes to the business. he is currently sleeping with his costar york roberts.
[atrb=width,200]	[atrb=width,200] york roberts - leading lady PB: HAYDEN PANETTIERE although she comes across as a sweet, innocent little girl, york can be as bitchy as the next girl. similarly to kale, she grew up in hollywood, and both of her parents were in the business before her. her siblings are all associated with the industry, in different ways, as well. this is her first really major film role although she had a recurring role on an australian soap opera for two years. she is secretly sleeping with her costar kale smithson.
[atrb=width,200]	[atrb=width,200] aaron talbot - SUPPORTING ROLE PB: STEVEN R MCQUEEN aaron is quite a bad boy. he smokes, he drinks, he rides a motorcycle, you name it. fame is a new phenomenon to him; he was literally chosen out of a crowd by the casting director to play the bad boy role in the movie, and he's perfect for it. if a fangirl swooned over him, he'd just think she was drunk or something. he's very unassuming, and that's what draws people to him and pushes them away. he's completely oblivious that rowan mcknight has a crush on him.
[atrb=width,200]	[atrb=width,200] georgie swanepoel - SUPPORTING ROLE PB: SHAY MITCHELL georgie is the sweetest person you could meet. although she's familiar with the industry, having acted since she graduated college with a liberal arts/acting degree, she doesn't fame go to her head. she's still surprised when people recognize her on the street. she's always willing to give an autograph or to take a snapshot with someone. she's extremely down-to-earth and friendly. she landed her role in the movie because she's married to the director, webber swanepoel, but she's a good actress as well. she doesn't know her husband is sleeping with tara woods.
[atrb=width,200]	[atrb=width,200] webber swanepoel - DIRECTOR PB: KRISTOFFER POLAHA webber is a young director, and he's extremely ambitious. he's wanted to be the next steven spielburg since he was ten years old. this movie is his first opportunity to really hit the big time, if it becomes a success, so he sometimes pushes his actors and staff too hard. he's a nice guy, but his ambition comes in the way in many circumstances. webber grew up in sacramento, california, so he has been familiar with sapphire bay since he used to come here on vacation with his parents as a child. he's married to georgie swanepoel, but he's cheating on her with the movie's publicist, tara woods.
[atrb=width,200]	[atrb=width,200] ROWAN MCKNIGHT - ASSISTANT PB: KATERINA GRAHAM rowan serves as the director's assistant, keeping him organized, running to get his coffee, or whatever he needs. she's still in college, going to school to be an elementary school teacher, and she has this job to pay for her schooling. she's a sweet girl, born and raised in sapphire bay, but she's good at what she does. she's not a cutthroat person like many in the movie business, but she does a good job and she's highly efficient. she also has a huge crush on aaron talbot that he's oblivious to.
[atrb=width,200]	[atrb=width,200] TAYLOR COURT - WRITER PB: JESSICA STROUP taylor wrote the original book the movie is based off of. webber brought her on to write the screenplay to the movie, and since then, she has become frighteningly more popular than she ever dreamed she would be. she's the new jk rowling or stephanie meyer, and the fame overwhelms her. she often stays to herself, always writing down her new ideas as they come to her. she's seen as a bit of a hermit, but she's really just very creative and needs an outlet for that creativity. when the movie is filming, she is always in her chair with her name on it, and she can't contain the enthusiasm she has to see her creation take life.
[atrb=width,200]	[atrb=width,200] TARA WOODS - PUBLICIST PB: KATIE CASSIDY tara has been a publicist for a long time. she's been in hollywood almost as long as kale and york have been, and she's done some very successful deals for her clients over the years. she's good at what she does, and she's extremely manipulative and cunning. known to sleep around to get what she wants, for herself or her clients, it's not surprise she's sleeping with webber swanepoel despite the fact he's married. for her, there's no emotional ties there, she just sleeps with him for the sex and doesn't think about or care about the backlash it could cause.
