Noah needed to get out and stretch his legs, and that was made known to his owner as he jumped up onto her bed to wake her up. The border collie mix nudged her until the young woman finally woke up. Sighing to herself, Archer got up rather unwillingly. This was her day to sleep in. "Alright, alright. I'm up. You win Noah." She said with a small smile, rubbing behind his ears before standing. Heading into the kitchen, she fed him his breakfast and then went back to her bedroom. Getting dressed, she put on a simple pair of jeans and her hiking boots, as well as a comfortable cream color sweater that had seen better days. It was rather shabby looking, but Archer didn't care. Who was she trying to impress? She was just taking her dog to the park to get him some exercise after all. She didn't care what she looked like. Throwing her wavy brown hair into a ponytail, she put a headband on as well and was soon in the kitchen with her dog.
Eating a banana for breakfast, the rather petite girl grabbed Noah's collar and leash, calling him over to the door. "Good boy, let's go for a walk, alright?" Grabbing his frisbee as well, she shoved that into her bag and put her camera carefully inside of it as well. One ever knew when the best photo ops were going to show up. Noah bounced along beside her as they made their way down the stairs of the apartment building and out on the streets. Archer didn't have a lot of money and that much was obvious if one looked around at her neighborhood. She lived in the Slums, and for a girl her size and her stature, that wasn't always the safest thing. Of course she could protect herself, but it still put her on edge. One never knew what could happen. Biting her bottom lip as she felt the stares of some of the other members of the community, she bowed her head and tightened her hold on Noah's leash. The dog would protect her, but this was still a bit unnerving. She was going to have to get used to this area. Sighing to herself, she picked up the pace, walking quickly now. It took them about a half hour to reach the park, and she couldn't have been more relieved. She would make sure she got home well before dark as well, because she wasn't changing anything.
As they entered the green area, she saw how excited Noah was at being outside. Unclipping his leash, she gave him the command f stay close. He wasn't going to go anywhere unless she asked him to, but now at least he could go where he wanted in a close vicinity. They reached a large open area soon enough and Archer whistled for him. He came bouncing over, his tail wagging furiously as she reached into her bag. He woofed as he saw the frisbee, and she tossed it easily, watching him fly after it. Noah was fast, and it didn't take him long to catch it and come trotting back. She kept throwing it for him, knowing that he was going to be out here a while because of how he was acting. She tossed it once more though, not really looking where she was throwing it because there didn't seem to be anyone around. However when she glanced to where she had thrown it, she winced as she saw it collide with someone or something. Jogging now, she spoke up to whoever was near. "I'm so sorry! It got away from me, are you alright?"
