this is lena, a twenty one year old party girl and resident of sapphire bay since about a year and a half ago. if you were to sum her up in five words, you could use: conflicting, disturbed, amusing, addicted and exciting. her brother made some incredible investments a little while ago and catapulted their family from nobodies to somebodies; they were literally living in the slums in greece before he wizened up and helped them out of their ditch. anyway, lena originally came to sapphire bay from los angeles to find her father whom she'd yet to meet, and when he rejected her and said they could never be seen together she basically snapped and has since been living in a drug-induced stupor that encompasses everything she does. needless to say, she's something of a loose-cannon and can and does go off on the slightest cue. because of her brother's interesting rise to power, she's often invited to social events and typically behaves terribly at them.
friends would have to have the tolerance of a saint. she needs a lot of affection but doesn't tend to give it. she's not stupid, but her penchant for dealing with her problems by popping a pill make her seem a little imbecilic at times and there are definitely a few air-headed moments where people scratch their heads at her. she's very, very friendly on her good days and easily makes friends due to a carelessly affable good nature she somehow inherited, but she has trouble keeping them because she isn't exactly constant in her moods and vacillates continuously between that friendly person and hateful, spiteful, i'm-going-to-kill-myself-with-drugs type personality.
as far as enemies go, i'm sure there's a lot of people who wouldn't want a drug addict running around in their societal circles in sapphire bay. she can't say she blames them, but at the same time she doesn't feel obligated to deal with their shit and probably wouldn't bother with them.
and as for lovers, i don't really have anything in mind. she slept with a teacher in high school (physics, blonde hair, brown eyes) and basically destroyed his family/job. she's pretty destructive in relationships and doesn't do well with them unless the other person has the same mentality. she is bisexual, so she'll probably have playthings both male and female, but it will take a special type to solidify it.
