"max" : twenty four, transplant, dancer at the velvet revolver, single
starting from the beginning, max is originally from brazil, she came to the state to find her father, who pretty much just payed her to never make contact with him again. despite having lived in the state for a while now, she still has a heavy accent, and still doesn't have a full grasp on the english language so idioms, will probably trip her up sometimes, but as long as you don't confuse her she won't start rapidly spiting portuguese at you. despite wanting to be a designer and already making custom clothing for herself and friends, she is currently working at the revolver, dancing to try and help her money supply.
okay now that her history is summed up we can move onto her personality some. originally she comes off very friendly and sweet, and a big ball of energy, which she normally is. call her a bit of a two face, but she has trust issues and though she will act like she considers you a friend, chances are she won't ever tell that to anyone else. still just because she won't call you a friend doesn't mean that you can't trust her, she hates gossip and would smile and lie to save a secret for a friend. despite being a little ray of sunshine most times, max has a bit of anger issues and isn't one to back down from a fist fight as she boxes regularly to help herself stay fit.
maxine also likes to work a bit of a mysterious angle with guys, it's sort of her own little thing, never quite giving them a straight answer or telling them what they want to hear, she likes to keep them on their toes and never knowing what's coming, its mostly part of her trust issues, she doesn't like to let people in, especially men, so for her playing the whole mysterious angle works because they normally never get to know her. and when the playing field is level and she is winning she is quite the seductress. just, don't try to get her to admit it. okay so i think i've rambled enough here, so just plot her up with your sexy characters.

akeno and max
when i read the part about how idioms would confuse her and how she's still new the states, i instantly thought of akeno here. akeno was a mail-order bride, and although she know english rather fluently, i could see her being equally as confused by innuendos and such. also, she's very new to the states since she's only recently moved here with her new husband, and she works at velvet revolver as a waitress who can also sing and will end up being a singer at the club. i totally think she and max should become besties! i think they'd be adorable together.
porter and max
obviously porter will know her because he owns the club she works at. lol he's engaged and very much in love with his fiancee, but maybe they could be friends? he's a nice guy underneath his stuck-up, douchey exterior. xD plus, all of the rest of his friends are girls, so why not have one more? lol
connor and max
connor is an asshole, i will warn you that ahead of time, but he's such a blast anyway. xD he's a jerk, but he's honest about it. haha he knows he is and doesn't care basically. anywhooo... i could see them having a fling or something. he sleeps around and is basically a sex addict. he also happens to be the leader of the irish mafia, and he's loaded, so he could definitely buy her little pretties and such to wear while she's performing or something? he isn't nice, not gonna lie, but i think it would be a hoot to have a sort of victim/victimizer type fling with them? it's up to you though. i know you said she doesn't trust people, so that may be difficult, considering that, but it would be fun and drama-filled if you're up for it!
my other babies and max
lennox is connor's younger brother, and more than likely, he'd call connor a douche if they end up having a fling and he saw how connor was treating her. noah would probably never meet her b/c he's married and not the type to go to a night club (lol). pixie could be buddies with her, we'd just have to figure out how they could be buds b/c pixie obviously has no need to go to a burlesque and she's busy with college so she's a little bit younger than max. ferris would be about as impossible as noah, although he's not married, just because his life is on the opposite side of the spectrum from max's. shasta would probably look down on her for working at a burlesque to begin with, since she's kinda a bitch and a snob to people she doesn't know. she hides herself with this wall of meanness. lol but if you have any ideas for any of them, by all means, let me know! i love plotting!

omg they sound like they'd be awesome together! hehe and it would make max feel better that she isn't the only one who gets confused with english sometimes. i could see them being good friends, seeing as akeno is new to the state i could see max probably wanting to trust her a little more and being a goofball and just well a best friend. i just. yes. these two deserve a stamp of approval.

XD who said there is anything wrong with a guy having nothing but female friends. but yes i think these would be friends. though for far warning, she'd probably try to joke around with him, and constantly be telling him to lighten up a little when he's being all douchey, she'd probably do it all with the best intentions seeing as well he's her boss but also because he would have earned some part of her trust with giving her a job and all.

-evilplotdance- haha i'd go for a fling with these two. but seeing as max is running out of money and such, if he bought her little pretty things, and spoiled her at all she'd probably roll over and beg like a puppy dog, that is until someone else pointed out that he's just a jerk or something along the lines of her seeing its all just buying her in a way. than her lovely anger issues would come out, and be warned she will come out swinging.
the others and max
hm yeah all of those make sense.. as for pixie and max, though she does work at the club, she does have a life, she is big on her fitness and dreams greatly about becoming a designer. i could see pixie and max getting along as friends if they ever met, max would probably let her goofy, geeky, bookworm side come out with her.

yesssssssssssss! i see him buying her diamonds and getting her to give him private dances and whatnot. he could be his evil self with her, and she'd just kinda be there to please him as long as he wasn't violent or something. i have soooo been wanting to do a plot like this with him. muwhahaha <333

yayyy! pixie needs a girl friend. she's only got dexter right now, and obviously, he's not a girl. haha she'd prolly introduce max to her bestie savannah, and if the plot with savannah and kory kissing ever does end up happening, she'll need a girlie to fall back on and cry on when she's upset with them. </3
